Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Carlson's family.   He was such a great person and family man.  Mr. Carson was a great Superintendent and and loved our community.  He was always supportive of his teaching staff, of which Penny was one, and of our SV Wildcat softball program during my stint as head coach.  His passing is quite a loss for our community.

Larry was always so friendly and approachable.  We have been blessed through the years by knowing both he and Karen.  Their genuine interest in people, in a world where many are focused on selfish ambition, has always been refreshing.  Celebrating with you the life Larry lived, grieving with you as well.  Praying peace for Karen in this next season.

Karen,
We are so sorry to hear this news.  We consider you and Larry to be wonderful friends.  You both have been so giving and helpful to whoever needed something over the years. Larry was so supportive of my classroom work (Young authors especially) and both of you volunteered many hours at Ernie Pyle.  I admired Larry for his willingness to tackle any
project--church, school, community--and see it through to completion.  Please know you are in our prayers as you cope with the days ahead.

Larry was superintendent at SV when I was in my early years of teaching.  I also had interaction with him when he was a part of the Community Foundation.  He was a great leader who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  Rest in peace, Larry.  Love and prayers for your family during this time.
