Beverly (Smith) Haga

Beverly Haga, 86, of Dana Indiana passed away on Wednesday March 27, 2024.

She was born in Danville, Illinois on March 17, 1938, to Herbert Smith and Myra (Chesser) Smith.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Harold Haga Jr., and her son Michael Haga.

Survivors include her son Randy Haga (Edna) of Dana, Indiana; daughter Lori Evans (Greg) of Evansville, Indiana; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Beverly worked as the bookkeeper for Haga Garage, and she was a teller at the Frist National Bank of Dana for 18 years. She was a member of the Dana Community Bible church. She liked to work in the yard and loved her cats and dogs. Beverly enjoyed baking anything sweet, especially cookies and candies. She and her husband Junior enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques. Above all she loved spending time with her family.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Monday April 1, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Service at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel in Scottland, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parke-Vermillion Humane Society in memory of Beverly.
