Melbourne “Frank”  Riley, 77, of Universal, passed away at Union Hospital in Terre Haute on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 7:18 pm.
He was born in Paris, IL on December 22, 1942, to Melbourne John Riley and Arbell Jackson Riley.
He was a coal miner and worked in the Universal coal mines.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Ann Marie; sister-in-law Delores Davitto Bennett; brother-in-law, Ike Doan; and nephew Mark Bennett.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Davitto Riley; son, Melbourne “Raz” (Crystal) Riley; daughters, Nancy (Bill) Hiett, Mary Riley-Stultz (Danny Stultz), and Katy (Troy) Mills; a brother, Billy(Mary Ann) Riley; sisters, Betty Doan and Martha (Fran) Mediate; sister-in-law, Sandy (Bob) Gibbons; grandchildren, Dustin Searing, Jessica (Jason) Wilds, Jaymee (Jeff) Boyce, Victoria Padish and Greg Milner, Doyle Padish Jr. and Tiffiany Smith, Taylor Riley and DongJun Shin, Katie (Kyle) Allison, Jordan Riley, Skylar Mills,  and Frankie Riley. great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jalynn, Paisley, Morgan, Maxwell, Jackson, Julian, Leo, Lucas, Ryan, Kinlie, and Danny; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or services.  Cremation was chosen.
Frist Funeral Home was entrusted with the care and arrangements.
