Virgil E. Andrews 71 of Clinton passed away at 10:38am on Sept 3, 2013 in Union Hospital Terre Haute. He was born on May 27, 1942 to Kenneth R. Andrews and Goldie Sweazy Andrews. He had worked at Wilbert Burial Vault in Terre Haute. He served in the US Marines.  He was an avid bowler and a member of the 700 Club of America.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Dwayne Andrews, a granddaughter Nicole Andrews and a great grandson Francisco Lopez-Prohaska.
He is survived by his wife Jill Procarione Andrews of Clinton, three daughters; Brenda & Ray Thomas of Bicknell, Rhonda & Kevin Carter of Terre Haute and Michelle Targett of Indianapolis, a son Brad & Polly Andrews of Mesa, AZ.,  and two step daughters; Holly & Brandon Brimbarry of Indianapolis, and Kelcie Uselman of Clinton. Two brothers; Bob & Bev Andrews of New Goshen and Charles & Pam Evitt of West Chicago, IL., two sisters; Betty & Brad Kelley of Terre Haute and Jeanette & Joe Clark of FL. Grandchildren; Justin Andrews, Jennifer Carter, Aaron Carter, Ashley Prohaska, Kayla Peoples, Laura Thomas, Brandy Thomas, Megan Targett, Tiffany Targett, Lauren Targett, Bradi Andrews and Taylor Hughes. Great grandchildren; Rayshawn Benford, Jonae A. Dixon, Jesse Sanders, Tyjon Gregory, Jocelyn Andrews, Jenesis Andrews, Adelivia Lopez-Prohaska, Alyana Lopez-Prohaska, Yonatan Peoples, Anthony Bachelor, Austin Bachelor, Alexis Thomas, Robert Lamar, Raymond Shander, Nathan Thomas and Jordan Targett. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday at Frist Funeral Home from 4-8pm. Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com

So sorry to hear about Virgil Andrews. I believe he was a Fairview Grade School classmate of mine. Please accept my condolence to his family.
