Lillian M. Tolley 78 of Geneva passed away on Sept 5, 2013 at 11:15am in her residence. She was born on April 19, 1935 in Clinton to Leslie Hinkle Sr.  and Jennie West Hinkle. She was a retired LPN from Vermillion County Hospital and was currently working at VCC.  She attended State Line Christian Church, loved to watch quarter midget racing, spending time with her family and loved to play bingo.
She is preceded in death by her father Leslie Hinkle Sr., her husband James Tolley and two granddaughters Chastity and Charity Kelley.
She is survived by her mother Jennie Hinkle of Geneva, a son James & Debbie Tolley Jr., of Geneva, two daughters; Suzanne & Charles Oaks of Clinton and Brenda & Mark Kelley of Clinton. Three brothers; Jim Hinkle of Geneva, Dave & Sue Hinkle of Clinton and Bill & Karen Hinkle of Geneva. Eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8pm at Frist Funeral Home. Service will be at Noon on Tuesday. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Online condolescences may be made at

I am sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. We just found out. We saw her at mom's funeral. Little did we know we would lose her two months later. She was a great aunt. I remember the good times when we all got together at our home in montezuma. She will be missed. I hope we can keep in contact with you all. Love Ruby
