It was not until today that I became aware of Matt's death. Unfortunately, death does not discriminate--has no regard for age at loss, your number of losses, or who is left for you. I know Matt was like a son. Of all the losses in life, the loss of a child is most painful. Every day I pray my son will be safe, be healthy, and be happy. Yet death can be an imposter in anyone's life at any time. You will be in my prayers at mass.
