Pearl “Polly” Poloney Wilding, 85, of Clinton, died May 21, 2015 in Union Hospital Clinton.  
She was born October 24, 1929 to Helen Ellis Poloney Rose and Andrew Poloney.  She married Arthur Wilding on June 25th, 1949 and they were married for 62 years before he preceded her in death.
She had worked at the St. Bernice and Clinton sewing factories and then owned and operated 9th Street Feed store with her husband Art.  Pearl loved to play poker, scratch off lottery tickets, and go gambling.  She also belonged to several bowling leagues, played euchre, and enjoyed square dancing.  She was a loving and caring person.  Pearl was wonderful and giving and loved her family.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wilding; her oldest daughter, Sharon Rose Wilding Riggen; her only sister, Grace Poloney Mathas; two brothers, Thomas Poloney and Ted Poloney; her mother and father; and her step-father, Harry Rose.
She is survived by two daughters, Sue and John Sanquenetti of Fairview Park and Sandy Wilding of Danville, IN.; also one brother, Andy and Deloris Poloney; six grandchildren, Matt and Joy Sanquenetti, John and Heather Sanquenetti, Kim Pearcy, Ralph and Christina Wilcox, Paula Riggen, and Mandy and Bryan Fortner; eight great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter, and another any day; and several nieces and nephews.  
Visitation will be 3-4 PM on Tuesday, May 26th in the Walnut Grove Chapel.  Services will begin at 4 with Jeff Russell officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please send cards to the family.  Online condolences can be made at

We are so grateful for getting to stop by for a visit last fall. You hold a special place in our hearts. Your sweet spirit, your smiling face, your laughter will be held in our memories forever. We love you and miss you Aunt Polly.
