Shirley Myers, 77, of Clinton, died at 7:58 PM on September 14, 2017 in Union Hospital Terre Haute.  She was born May 1, 1940 in Clinton to Samuel “Bo” Russell and Rose Junte Russell.  
She had been a guard at the Newport Ammunition Plant and had also worked at Terre Villa Restaurant.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Dennis Carey.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Shawn Myers of Clinton and Rodney Carey of Terre Haute; and many cousins.  
Visitation will be from 11-1 Tuesday at Frist Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 1 PM with Celebrant Marta Adubato officiating.  Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.

We were very Blessed to have Shirley touch our lives. I have nothing but fond memories of my visits to Clinton whenever Shirley was around. A beautiful soul with a beautiful smile. She will be missed!

Shirley "Not" what can I say even though I won't be there today thank you for our talks , your famous coffee, and most important our friendship of over 37 yrs.. Love you.
