Henry T. Hogan, Jr, 95, Of Hillsdale, IN died Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence.
He was born August 30, 1923, in Central City, KY, to Henry T. Hogan, Sr., and Eva Hack Hogan.
He was an Electrical Supervisor for the Public Service Generating Station at Cayuga.  He was a Navy Veteran during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of the Clinton First United Methodist Church in Clinton and was a certified Lay Speaker and taught Sunday School classes. He enjoyed singing with the Neighborhood Quartet.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Colleen Harris Hogan who passed away on February 27, 2012.  He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Alvera Chambers and Juanita Stremming and his brother, Richard Hogan.
He is survived by his sons, Henry (Barbara) Hogan III of Corydan; Jim (Jackie) Hogan of Pekin, IN; and Randy (Janna) Hogan of Hillsdale; five grandchildren, Randi Lyn (Tim) Weeks, Sabrina (Mike) Vincent, Kevan (Cheryl) Hogan, Wesley Hogan, and Henry Thomas IV (Anna) Hogan; sisters, Henrietta Eldridge of Princeton, KY, Willene Yagle of Indianapolis, and Betty Jo Jeffrie of Indianapolis;  caregiver and special family friend, Terri Potter of St. Bernice; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Frist Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 3 from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 4 at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Barnett officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow in Bicknell IN cemetery at 2 pm where military honors will be performed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Clinton First United Methodist Church in memory of Henry Hogan.

Janna, you and Randy have my deepest condolences. It is very hard when one loses a parent but he is at peace now he is with God and he probably didn't suffer much it was a peaceful death, and you will always have pleasant
memories of him.

Henry was/is such a blessing in my life!!! May you all know His peace that passes understanding in your moments, minutes, hours, days & years ahead according to His will!!!

Dear Randy (Brother-In-Law) & My Sweet Sister Janna Dee:
How we loved to hear that “Southern Gentleman Henry” Sing, talk and laugh! He had an clear mind of Joy, for he knew his destiny. Praise The Lord! For now he and his hearts desire Mary are together again in Paradise! Where all questions are answered! May God grant us the Peace of knowing Love of your Dear Daughters and their families that Dear Henry held so Dear! Thank you God, until we can laugh together again.
