Helen L. Jackson, 90, of St. Bernice, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 4:14 am at her residence.
She was born May 5, 1928, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to Charles Fowler and Mary Wyatt Fowler.
She was a member of the Clinton Assembly of God Church, a former Cub Scout den mother, and a former 4-H Leader.  She was retired from the South Vermillion School Cafeteria and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Jackson; her step-mother, Bonnie Fowler; her step-father, Clarence McCauley; an infant sister; 2 sons-in-law, Richard Skinner and Robert Kelsheimer.
Helen is survived by her children, Bill (Jackie) Jackson of St. Bernice, Joann (Donnie) Beard of Klondyke, Mary Kelsheimer of St. Bernice, Ray (Shelley) Jackson of St. Bernice, Eunice (Tom) Chaney of Chrisman, IL,  Sheri Skinner of Sullivan, and Cathy (Tom) Milam of Fairview; one brother, Roy Fowler of Florida; a special sister-in-law, Blanche Gilbert of Blanford; 26 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Frist Funeral Home on Friday, October 26 from 4 to 8 pm.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Troy Teague officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, or the Clinton Assembly of God Church.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

So sorry to see this. I really enjoyed knowing Helen. She was a wonderful and special lady. We know she is enjoying her new home. God Bless.
