Michael Harmon. I am extremely saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I worked with Tom the entire time he was at ISU. No professor was better liked and respected by all who knew him. He was extremely popular with the students. Plus, he was just a really good person, always cheerful and willing to help anyone who needed it. I am proud to say the Tom was my friend. I am a better person from knowing him. My condolences to his family and friends.

I never dreamed that I would be an accounting major...until I met Dr. Harris..truly an inspirational and charismatic educator. I feel so fortunate that I walked into his classroom and he touched my life, and changed it forever. He brightened rooms when he stepped in, and his enthusiasm was contagious.

Dr. Harris was truly one of the best. He was one of the best professors I had at ISU and definitely one of the best people I have ever met. He truly cared about each of his students and their success. He had a way of making a boring subject matter interesting and kept us all engaged. The foundation we learned from Dr. Harris was just the beginning for so many successful ISU accounting majors. I am sorry for your loss.
