Deloris Faye Milbourn, 82, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 1:45 pm at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 7, 1936, in Argyuile, KY to Roy Godbey and Ruth Young Godbey.
She married James Robert Milbourn on June 25, 1955, in Paris, IL. and he survives her.
Faye was a homemaker and was a bookkeeper for her husband’s business.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her family and loved to bake and cook for them.  When she wasn’t tending to her family, she loved to read.
She was a member of the Trinity church in Shepardsville.
Preceding her in death were her parents; 5 brothers, Clifford Godbey, Charles Godbey, James Godbey, Vernon Godbey, and Dallas Godbey; and 1 sister, Irene Macak.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her son, Kevin (Kathy) Milbourn of West Terre Haute; a daughter, Kim Milbourn of New Goshen; 4 grandchildren, Jesse (Ginny) Gibbs of New Goshen, Shane Gibbs of New Goshen, J R Milbourn of New Goshen, and Lindsey (Kevin) Hill of Terre Haute; 8 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Emma, Wyatt, Maddy, Levi, Ethan, Morgan, and Dylan; 1 sister, Anna Lou (Chalmers) Hill of New Goshen; 2 brothers-in-law; 5 sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 18, 2019, from 11 am to 1 pm at Frist Funeral Home with services to begin at 1 pm with Rev. Bob Roush officiating.  Burial will follow in Shirley Cemetery in Universal.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Southern Care Hospice.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

So sorry to read this this morning. Faye and Jim were mine and Bens buddies in the 50.s As time goes by we lose contacts with such best friends. Had a lot of good times. Lost Ben a year ago Nov.24. Love and hugs to Jim and Keven and Kim. Thinking of you
