Ms. Jeanne Stern, age 56 of Clinton, passed away February 16, 2019.
Jeanne was born April 25, 1962, to Pete and Janis Johnson.
Growing up, she was an active member in 4-H and the Indiana High School Rodeo Association.
In 1980, she graduated from South Vermillion High School.  Early on, her family sparked her love of horses and competitive drive that she made sure she passed on to her daughters.  She always took pride in her professional success as a loan originator and touching and encouraging the lives of others.  Her strong faith in God was foremost in her life that could be seen in her bright and infectious spirit.  She will always be remembered  as a generous, kind-hearted woman that would go out of her way to help others while putting their needs ahead of her own.
She is survived by parents Pete and Janis Johnson; sister, Leah McFarren; brother John Johnson; daughters, Jerica Stern and Josey Seabolt; nephews Brady and Austin McFarren.
Private service will be held for close family and friends.

My continued thoughts and prayers to the entire family. My god reach down with his loving hands to comfort you in this time of grief.
We are here to celebrate your life.
And the measure of its worth.
And every single life you touched.
While you were on this earth.
We wish to pay our last respects.
That's why we all are here.
To thank you for your friendship.
And all the memories we hold dear.
Its been a privilege to have known you.
We were family not just friends.
And we will carry you in spirit.
Until we meet up once again.

Nene <3.....I think back to how we met. God placed you in my path that night for a reason. You helped me when I had nobody, you loved my children like your own. You became one of my family and all of us loved you and won't ever forget you. I hope you find peace and we will see you one day again..

Jeanne is one of my first Indiana friends. So generous, Jeanne and Jerica and Josey gave my family the life-long gift of horses as part of our lives. We laughed and cried and learned and loved and prayed together. Classically beautiful inside and out, Jeanne is a sunflower and brightened every circle she was in. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

I am sorry and deeply saddened by your family's tremendous loss. I have many fond memories of fun times and wonderful camaraderie with Jeanne and your whole family when we were all competing in high school rodeo back in the day. Please know you are being held close in thought and prayer during this painfully difficult time. Sending my sincere heartfelt condolences and many hugs for all.

Jerica, Josey and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of working alongside your Mom in the early days of Cornerstone Church. She always went above and beyond to insure the success of any ministry in which she participated. She touched my life and many others with whom she came in contact. She was a beautiful woman with a heart for helping people. Love and prayers. Becky
