Theresa J. Buress, 62, of Clinton, died at 7:20 PM, March 4, 2019 in Union Hospital Terre Haute.  She was born August 21, 1956 to Harvey Catterson and Molly Wilds Catterson.  
She was retired from dietary at the  Vermillion Convalescent Center.  
She was proceeded in death by her parents; two brothers, David Catterson and Frank Catterson; and two sisters, Mary Ann Hale and Linda Coons.
She is survived  by her husband, James Buress of Clinton; two daughters, Sheila and Steve Clark of Hillsdale and Paula and Chris Bishop of Clinton; four grandchildren, Briana and Jerry McKinney, Joshua Clark, Tahressa Clark, and Christian Bishop; and several nieces and nephews.  
There is no visitation.  Cremation was chosen.  Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be made at

Sending heartfelt condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Theresa for 3 years. I've never seen a harder worker then her. She was a hoot and I am definitely sad to hear of her passing. RIP my friend. 😢

Shelia& Paula, Theresa was a very special lady! And another mom to me over the past 15 years her and I worked together! She has always and will always be in my heart! She was a hard working and caring person, and it was an honor to have known her! Prayers for you all!

I worked with Theresa many years ago at VCC. She was such a hard worker and a nice lady. I am so sorry for the family's loss.

There are no words at this time that can help the hurt and lost that you all are feeling. The only thing I pray is that you keep your faith and know she will always be in your heart and although not physically here she is right beside you. Just take one day one minute one second at a time ..and if you need to talk you know where I am.
