Barbara L. Riley, 86, of Clinton, passed away peacefully at Harrison’s Crossing in Terre Haute on Monday, April 15, 2019.
She was born in Acton, IN, on December 13, 1932, to Galen Taylor and Lola Day Taylor.
She was a  member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Clinton and a former member of Eastern Star in New Goshen.
Barbara formerly worked at Pfizer Company  in Terre Haute for 30 years where she packed Penicillin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; her son-in-law, Goly Coleman;  a great-grandson, Harley; siblings, Josephine Causey, Velma Tatlock, Fred Taylor, Nick Taylor, Loretta Martin, and Patricia Ann Taylor.
Survivors include four children,  Debby (Walter )Warren of North Terre Haute, David (Becky) Riley of Clinton, John (Rose) Riley of Clinton , and Sue Coleman of Clinton; two sisters, Kathleen (Delbert) Scott of Terre Haute and Carol (Doug) Connor of West Terre Haute; one brother Charles (Elizabeth) Taylor of Chicago; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren;  several great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law Mildred Wallace;  a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Hershel and Betty Riley and a sister-in-law Betty Shortridge.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Frist Funeral Home from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral services to be held at 1 pm at the funeral home.  Pastor Gary Click will officiate and burial will  follow at Shirley Cemetery in Universal.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Clinton Calvary Baptist
Church in Barbara Riley’s name.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Sorry for your loss, yet we know there is no more pain. She will be missed, I remember the laugh and good times with her and Mom.

My heart goes out to Jamie & Heavyn. Your Grandma sure was a firecracker! I really enjoyed her visits and her stories...o, boy could she tell them! 😉 Much love to you both!!
