So sorry, Becky. I lost my wife last August 1. I have a good idea of the pain you feel. I also know that you can go on. You have before. I know the pain is deep. If I can do anything for you, let me know.

God's peace be with Becky and Steve's extended family. When I was a 12-year-old paperboy, Steve's family was one of my customers. I saw him often, beyond going to school with him. Steve was a nice person and I'm sorry for his passing.

My condolences to Becky, children, grandchildren and dear 2nd cousin Dennis (Dick) Sharp, and some thoughts:
I remember growing up with a strong family connection. Celebrating holidays with close and extended families; Boating - swimming - camping - water-skiing. Great-uncle John Sharp - with one arm - water-skiiing behind my dads' speed boat on Kentucky lake. These memories are flooding in following the phone call about my 2nd cousin Steve's' passing. Steve and Becky picked me up and drove me to my Aunt Linda's funeral service, so that I may be able to attend. . . Those, and many more other wonderful memories, were special times I was able to share with my beloved family. You will be missed here, but, what a wonderful family re-union there will be in Heaven. God Bless you dear cousin.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. One encouraging thought you might find comforting is found at John 5:28, 29. “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” God gives us this beautiful hope that he will soon resurrect our dead loved ones and we can see them again on a paradise earth! I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.
