Carolyn Morgan-Tucker, 79, of Clinton, died at 6:55 PM, September 19, 2019, in Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. She was born September 18, 1940, in Oxford, IN to John Van Vactor and Eloise Smith Van Vactor.
She had worked as a LPN at Vermillion Convalescent Center, for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jack Van Vactor and Donald Van Vactor; and a brother-in-law, William Blue.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Tucker, of Clinton; six children, Cindy (Joe) Davern, Joyce Rogers, Oressa (Mark) Ristvedt, Linda (David) Sandifer, Bob (Gena) Morgan, and Bill (Stacy) Morgan; two step-children, Mike Tucker and Terri Craig; three sisters, Jean Blue, Peggy (Don) Roberts, and Judi (Brian) Profit; one aunt, Dorothy Smith; two sister-in-laws, Mary Jane Van Vactor and Barbara Nolan; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, from 11:00-1:00 PM at Frist Funeral Home, with services to begin at 1:00 PM, with Butch Denney officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
