Margaret Mary “Peggy” Evans Crowder, 86, died September 30, 2019, in Vermillion Convalescent Center.  She was born in Liverpool, England on November 14, 1932, to Kenneth and Renee Evans.
She joined the British Women’s Royal Army Corp in 1950 and served until 1952.  She met Sandy Crowder in 1950 and married him in 1952.  They were married for 49 years, until he passed away in April 26, 2001.
She is survived by one son, Larry Crowder and his wife Evie of Greencastle; two daughters, Marlene Frazier and husband, Leslie of Catlin and Linda Sue Wilson and her husband, Earl of Montezuma; grandchildren, Heather and Darrin Beck of Terre Haute, Robert “Bobby” Frazier and Cierra of Roachdale; great-grandchildren, Kassidy Goodman, Michael Frazier, Elijah Beck, Merriah Frazier, Brooklynn Frazier, and Annalynne Frazier; step-grandchildren, Eddie Wilson and Lisa, and Jessica Wilson; step-great-grandchildren, Brayden Beck, and Shelbi Wilson; one sister, Christine and Charles Jones of Liverpool, England; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Slaven and Mary Jukes; and several nieces and nephews.
She was ceramicist, from 1969-1996, specializing in Indians and wildlife.  She was a hand quilter and was quite well known at the Covered Bridge Festival.  She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Clinton.  
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM on Thursday at Frist Funeral Home.  Services will be 1:00 PM on Friday at Frist, with Father Varghese Maliakkal officiating.  Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. We have such lovely memories of Aunty Margaret and her Liverpool Trips. We also did many trips to Rome to see the Pope at the Vatican the Dublin trips all remembered with great fondness. Her trips home to Liverpool were always full of happiness. Goodnight and God Bless.
