Rita Brockmeier Dunkley, 65, of Clinton, passed away at her residence on Friday, December 13, 2019.
She was born October 4, 1954, in Shepardsville to Charles and Charlotte Brockmeier.  She formerly worked at Futurex in Terre Haute in administration.
She was a former member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge #887 and ABATE Reg 12.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her granddaughter, Sydney George; her nephew, Brent Foltz; and her best friend, Stephen Judd.
She is survived by her daughters, Raime Lucas of Richmond;  KY, Emily Payne (Brian George) of Clinton, Jessie Lucas (Mickey Fisher) of Clinton; 8 grandchildren, Noah Lucas, Hannah Hall, Jayden Hines, Alec Hall, Amaya Hall, Brooklyn Gossett, and Brentley Fisher and baby Fisher; 1 great-grandson, Rowan Hall;  special family Mike Lucas, Bob Dunkley, and Rex Scott all of Clinton;1 brother, Bruce (Becky) Brockmeier of Golf Shores, AL; 2 sisters, Luke Armstrong of Brazil, IN and Carol Balla of Golf Shores, AL; nieces and nephews, Chuck Payne, Chrysler Payne, Misty Bledsoe, Nikki Stevens, and Ashley Hawkins; and many other friends and family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 5 to 7 pm at Frist Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.

To Jess I love you and miss I could be there with you. I have so many great and wonderful memories with your mom. She was an amazing woman and will be missed. Don't forget she will always be watching over you. I'm always here for you.
