Edward C. Mancourt, 76, of Hillsdale, passed away at his residence with his family at his side on Tuesday, December 24, 2019.
He was born in Terre Haute on November 1, 1943, to Charles Mancourt and Bernice Settles Mancourt.
He was formerly employed at Public Service of Indiana and  Cinergy and retired from Duke Energy  as a District Manager.
Ed was a life member of the Half Century Club; a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #140; the Hillsdale Bible Church; past Lift Board member; a past Chairman of the Wine Garden; and a Clinton volunteer Fireman for 12 years.  He enjoyed gardening and loved going to watch  his son play baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Georgetta Cottrell Mancourt; 3 sons, Bryan of Indianapolis,
Richard of Indianapolis, and Caleb of Hillsdale; a step-son Norman Berry of Clinton; 4 granddaughters, Maria, Melanie, Kayla, and Ryley.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation was chosen.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Frist Funeral Home was entrusted with the care and arrangements.
