Judy Gail Shank, 70, of Clinton, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Vermillion Convalescent Center.

She was born March 22, 1949, in Indianapolis IN, to Orville Gorman Shank and Bernice (Beckman) Shank.

Judy was the most loving, sweet, and kind soul, who loved everyone and they loved her in return. She loved all animals, great and small; but, her favorite was her childhood dog, “Babe.”  She was witty and uniquely gifted in her special craft of making beautiful pictures. She was a huge Wizard of Oz fan. She loved her family, and that included her extended VCC family. She will be greatly missed by all. Judy will be especially missed by all her nieces and nephews as she was the most wonderful aunt of all time. Everyone should be so blessed to have an Aunt Judy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia (David) Rash.

Survivors include nieces, Leslie (Stephen) Davenport of Cleveland, OK,  Lisa (Donald) Klinge of Clinton, IN, and Lori Miller of Anderson, IN; great-nieces and nephews, Randall Rash, Cierra (Daniel) Pitts, Courtney Miller, Savannah Klinge, Avery Miller, Evan Miller, and Haili Klinge; great-great nieces and nephews, Reese Williams, Grayson Miller, Levon Hatfield, and Josephine Pitts; step great niece and nephew, Brandon (Breanna) Miller and Carrie (Randy) Klinge-Deyo; and step great-great nieces, Brooke-Lynn and Lilly.

Cremation was chosen.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2 pm at the Victory Baptist Church, 133 South Washington Street in Clinton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Parke-Vermillion Humane Society or the Vermillion Convalescent Center Activity Department, in memory of Judy Shank.

I will miss Judy so much she was one of the nicest people I ever met. She always talked about her family when I did her hair. She will be with her dog Babe again. She always said she loved it at VCC which was great. I can’t come to her Memorial because I’ve been sick since Wed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I will never forget her she was special.
