Doris DeLashmutt Black, a three-year resident of Clinton, IN, died on December 26, 2020.  She was born in Birmingham, AL, on January 31, 1944 to Dorothy Coward (DeLashmutt) and Lloyd S. DeLashmutt.  
Doris is survived by her only child, Thomas L. Davis of Clinton; her three grandchildren, Timothy P. Davis of Terre Haute, Mark T. Davis of Clinton, and Jeffrey M. Davis of Clinton.
Most of her life was spent in the Birmingham area, graduating from Banks High School. She worked in the medical, retail, and logistics fields.  After retirement, Doris moved north to be closer to family.  Doris was a loving mother and grandmother, whose faith and service in God, her family, and her friends, were the main focus of her life.
