Mary V. “Ginny” Jackson, 74, of Clinton, died on January 22, 2021, at 3:45 PM, in her residence. She was born September 16, 1946, in Chicago, IL to Paul Alabaugh and Marjorie Alabaugh.
She was retired from Clinton IGA. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She attended the Cayuga Christian Church and enjoyed playing Bunco.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her aunt Mary and uncle Verlin Wagner.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Jackson, whom she married February 14, 1988 in Clinton; a daughter, Penny and Randy Peterson of Paris, IL; three brothers, Paul “Frank” and Pat Alabaugh of Clinton, Ron and Beverly Alabaugh of St. Bernice, and Bob and Brenda Alabaugh of Fairview; two grandchildren, Randy Allen Peterson and Kristian and David Klyaic; three great-grandchildren, Kymberley Klyaic, Jay Peterson, and Kaylee Klyaic; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM, Monday at Frist Funeral Home. Services will begin at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Larry Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.

Paul, I am so sorry for your loss. Ginny was in my life growing up. I remember when Cindy, mom, and I would come over for a barbeque or just to have some down-home relaxation out by the corn fields. I remember Ginny always worried I'd get lost in those corn fields. I cannot express how much I wish I could be there for you right now sir. Thank you, for being such amazing people, Paulie!

When i was a child jenny was my favorite her laugh and smile always made me smile! When i knew her and frank were coming over to play cards with my parents i was so excited! When my mom and dad went to the hospitol to have my sister she stayed with my brother and I! Sorry for the families loss. She was an awesome lady!
