Steven C. Russell, 67, of Clinton, passed away at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
He was born in Clinton to Curtis and Mary Dowdy Russell on June 22, 1953.
He was a Pipefitter with Local Union #157. He was also a member of Post #140 Sons of American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son, Tony of Indianapolis; 2 brothers, John (Janie) Russell of Rockville and Jeff (Debbie) Russell of Clinton; and 2 grandchildren, Anthony and Ivan Russell.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Cremation was chosen.
Frist Funeral Home was entrusted with the care and arrangements.

He was my friend for a lots of years. We danced, laughter, and had a lot of drinks together. I will sadly miss him. Rest In Peace my friend.

One of the best friends ever. Will miss our Thursday lunches and Sunday dinners. When we have a fire outside or a beer on the patio we'll think of him and smile.

Steve was our neighbor ,and we also went to school today . He would always wave when he drove by our home, Rest In Peace Steve you will be missed.
