Barbara Dean Hartman Sollars was born May 26, 1945 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Norris Dean and Jeanette Hartman.
She died on June 2, 2021, peacefully in her own home with her family by her side.  As a young girl, she lived with her family in Bridgeton, Indiana.  Her father surrendered to preach in 1952 and went to Bible college in Chattanooga, TN.  They moved to Lodi, Indiana in 1956 and Dean Hartman was the pastor of Waterman Baptist Church.  She attended Tangier Grade School and Turkey Run High School.  During this time she met Joe Sollars, Jr.  They were married May 29, 1962,  He became a preacher in 1965 and also attended Tennessee Temple Bible College.  She was a preacher’s kid and a pastor’s wife most of her life, but she didn’t get saved until about 6 years ago, and she had perfect peace about going to Heaven.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Joe in Milton, FL; three daughters, Darla Weinz and husband John in Saint Cloud, FL, Deanna Ivins and husband Ken in Chattanooga, TN. and Danielle Sollars and friend Chris in Milton, FL; her Dad, Dean Hartman in Linton, IN; her sister, Diane Owens in Linton, IN; her half-brother, Dwight Hartman in Nashville, TN; her half-sister, Karen Davis in Athens, GA; five grandsons, Brady Stafford, Alex Stafford, Harrison Ivins, Seth Sollars, and Dylan Sollars; two granddaughters, Brooke Safford and Kendra Ivins; and four great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Hartman; daughter, Rosetta Dawn Sollars; and brother, John Hartman.
The funeral will be at Faith Baptist Church in Milton, FL on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11 am.  Visitation will be at 10 am.  Flowers should be sent to Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, FL.  The address is 6539 Trammel Drive, Milton, FL 32570.
She will be buried at Poplar Grove Cemetery, one mile north of Marshall, In N. Main Street, 47859 at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.  Flowers can be sent to Frist Funeral Home in Clinton, IN.  The address is 458 Blackman Street, Clinton, Indiana, 47842.

Joe and family,
I was so sorry to see where Barb had passed away. She was a very good person and I am glad that we know she is now rejoicing in Heaven. Please accept my deepest sympathy and we will keep you all in our prayers.
