I'm so sorry to learn of John's passing. I'll never forget singing with him at the old Eagles club. Our 'duet' was Jackson. Thank you for the memories John! Give Mom a hug for us!

I don't think you kids will remember me, but my husband and I visited John when we would come down to Clinton over Memorial Day. I also sent him letters and Christmas cards and he wrote me occasionally. He actually even called me for Christmas year before last. My mom was Dorothy Rigsby and my Aunt was Myrtle Eastwood. Your Grandma Lola Brock was my Great Aunt. Dennis and I both were very saddened to hear of John's passing. We both loved him. You and your entire family are in our prayers.

So sorry to hear about Uncle John.  I have fond memories of him and always enjoyed running in to him from time to time.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I didn't know that I ever personal got to meet John..but I knew much about him.. He was my father's oldest and dearest friend.  Most of my dad's childhood stories included John growing up in Clinton. He and John both shared the gift of a good story.  My father does not get choked up much..but the loss of John and not being able to call his long time friend was truly felt.  Our condenses tio the family. John will be missed.
