Posted by: Mark Killion Tue February 16, 2021 | Ernie was one of my best friends in a tight-knit group of guys growing up. Ill never forget the nights we spent together hanging out on North 3rd, going to Baseball games together, visiting him at Franklin, and running those horrible sprints with him while he prepared to play college football. He was such a genuine person who always saw the best in people and was always the first one to help any of us if we needed him. He was always there for me and although he was a few years younger I always looked up to and admired the person that Ernie was. I am so sorry for your loss Mrs. Simpson. Just know that Ernie had a huge impact on anyone that knew him and the type of person that we all should strive to be. Ill miss you forever Ernie and I am so lucky to have had you in my life. |
