Frist Funeral Home

Alice “Ginger” English, 93, of Clinton, died March 5, 2022, at 2:55 AM, at Union Hospital Terre Haute.  She was born October 19, 1928, in Chicago to Henry H. Myers and Stella Cole Myers. 

She was a retired Dental Assistant.  She was a member of the Saint Bernice Church of the Nazarene and Order of Eastern Star. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester English; two brothers, John Myers and Jim Myers; and one granddaughter, Macah Cook. 

She is survived by her children, Larry W. and Rachel English of Fairview, Donna Lee Cooper of Clinton, Patricia Kathleen DePugh and Deb of Clinton, and Michael Allen English of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; special friends Nancy Sams and Diane Wright; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Wednesday March 9, 2022, from 11:00-1:00 PM at Frist Funeral Home.  Services will be at 1:00 PM with Reverend Garrett Lee officiating.  Burial will be West Union Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
