Andrew Joseph Padish, 71, of Clinton, Indiana, went to be with our Lord in Heaven at 6:47pm, September 9, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of Donna Lewis Padish. They shared 49 years of marriage together.
Andy was born March 6, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Catherine Verhonik Padish and Andrew Paul Padish.
He was a 1968 graduate of Clinton High School. Andy was the Senior Class President and loved playing basketball on a great team.
Andy was a Vietnam Army Veteran, having served from 1970 to 1972. He was the past Commander of the American Legion Post 140. He was also a member of the VFW and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he attended school until 8th grade.
Andy was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt squirrel and rabbits. He loved to run his hunting dogs and walk the woods with his friends. Andy’s real love was for fishing. He would sit for hours and wait for the “big one”.
In 1972, he married Donna Lewis Padish, of Newport, who survives. He has three daughters, Becky Daniel (Travis) of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Kathy Yoho (John) of Clinton, Indiana, and Andrea Overpeck (Ron) of Rockville, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, Ben and Natalie Daniel, Madison, Mallory, and Peyton Hawkins, and Andy and Alex Overpeck; two brothers, John and Tony (Angie) Major, both of Clinton; sister-in-law, Carol Hughes (Dennis) of Perrysville; nieces and nephews, Holly Cain (Brian), Mitchell Farrell, Katie Wilson (Caleb), Grant Major, Michael Major, and John Michael Major, and many cousins that he loved dearly.

Our world was such a better place with Andy in it. Per his wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held.
