Arthur Charles Anders, 74, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2023, at his home.

He was born in Mishawaka, IN., on June 9, 1948, to Arthur Charles Anders and Elsie Eveylene Phillips Anders who precede him in death.

Arthur was a loyal father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He was a decorated United States Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post 777 out of Indianapolis.

He is survived by his daughter Lesia Kolleen Anders (Jeffrey) of Incline Village, NV., and son Arthur Charles Anders III of Honolulu, HI, brothers Dwight Allen Anders (Linda) of Apple Valley, CA., Raymond Howard Anders of Terre Haute, IN., and Alvin Arnold Anders of Laconner, WA.; sisters Kay Wyvonna Matthews of Arizona and Priscilla Jean Mack (David) of Hillsdale, IN., 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at Helt’s Prairie Cemetery on Thursday April 6, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. with Military Honors. Cremation was chosen.

In lieu of flowers , Arthur would have loved donations made to The Institute for Justice (www.IJ.org), The Terre Haute Humane Society (www.THHS.org), or Associates of Vietnam Veterans (www.avva.org).
