Betty Joe Bertolino, 92, of Clinton passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute.
She was born in Chrisman, Illinois on January 6, 1933, to James Elkins and Katherine (Stout) Elkins who precede her along with her husband Phillip Bertolino, brothers Charlie and Jimmy Elkins and step granddaughter Billie Jo.
Betty was a retired school cafeteria cook, and she belonged to the Sugar Grove Methodist Church in Chrisman, IL. Betty loved to play BINGO.
Surviving Betty is her son Russell Anderson (Barbara) of Paris, IL., daughter Gertrude “Trudy” Studey (Randy) of Clinton, brother George Elkins of Jacksonville, NC., sister Adeline Elkins Winkler (John) of Bay City, MI, grandchildren Amanda, Rachel, Diedra, Katie, Albert Joseph “Joey,” and Danny, step grandchild Christopher and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Frist Funeral Home on Monday February 24, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Service at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
