Beverly Jean (McCracken) Brown

Beverly Jean Brown, 94, of Clinton, died at 11:11 PM, on February 22, 2022, in Clinton Gardens.  She was born July 23, 1927, in Clinton, to William Herbert McCracken and Lenora Cliver McCracken. 

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Clinton. She had worked at Columbia House and Horney’s Variety Store. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Eugene Brown; great-grandson, Kadyn Bryce Huxford; brothers, Herbert McCracken (Mary Helen), Donald E. McCracken (Mary Helen Harding), and Stanley McCracken (Theresa); and sisters, Viola Terrando (Mario “Slim”), and Ruth Trevarthan (Fred).

She is survived by her son, Ronald Gene Brown (Kimberly Dene) of Clinton; granddaughters, Janna Kay Miller (Scott) and Jamiee Elizabeth Huxford (Brian); great-granddaughters, Madison Paige Whalen (Derik), Zoee Elizabeth Huxford, Zara Nicole Huxford, and Izabella Brianne Huxford. 

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, at Roselawn Memorial Park, with Marta Adubato officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parke-Vermillion Humane Society.  Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
