Billy Tryon Obituary

Billy R. Tryon, 75, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Clinton Gardens.

Billy was born on March 30, 1946 to John E. Tryon and Josephine Gosnell Tryon in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam. He retired as a boiler technician from Eli Lilly.

Billy is preceded in death by both parents; brother’s Marvin E. Tryon and Holbert Tryon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Tryon of Clinton; son, Billy Tryon II of Terre Haute; daughter, Lisa Tryon of Terre Haute; brother, John (Deb) Tryon of West Terre Haute; nephews, Rick (Cheryl) Cottrell, Jeremy Lunsdon; nieces, Debra (Andy) Fox and Penny Barwick; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many great friends.

At Billy’s request, no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and updated on our website.
