Brynlee Sawyer Kaufman, age 11 died on February 7, 2023, at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.  Brynlee was born January 12, 2012.  She is the beloved daughter of Jocelyn Blaschko Kaufman and Dieter Kaufman, of Litchfield Park, Arizona.  A lively, outgoing, child, Brynlee was known by her friends, family, and teachers to be a compassionate, kind, loving and imaginative girl with an amazing sense of humor. 

Brynlee was a 5th grade student at Palm Valley Elementary School where she made many good friends.  She loved horseback riding, swimming, cooking, music, and dancing.  Brynlee enjoyed activities at Gigi’s playhouse.  She enjoyed attending the theatre and acting out various roles, such as teacher, firefighter, police, and astronaut. Brynlee adored her dogs, Indi Ro and Baylee Biscuit. 

Brynlee was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Neil Blaschko.  Surviving in addition to her parents are her maternal grandmother, Jackie Blaschko ”Ma Jackie” and paternal grandparents, Saundra “Ma Soni” and Steve “Papa” Kaufman.  Aunts and uncles include, Neilla Rae Blaschko, Kathryn (Dee) Blaschko, Kristi Evans, Kathy Kaufman and Erika (Joe) Mrdja.  Cousins include Taylor Blaschko, Richie Evans, Jordan Evans, Christopher (Francis) Evans, Dawson Mrdja, Grayson Mrdja, Ashton Mrdja, Edith “Edie” Mrdja, Bowden Evans, Berkley Evans and Aurora Evans.  Her Godparents, Diane and Mike Hanson.  Brynlee touched numerous lives and will be missed by many.

Services will be held 1pm Saturday, February 25 at the Franciscan renewal Center, 5802 E Lincoln Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85253.
