Carole S. Welker, 81, of Clinton, died at 6:31 AM, on February 28, 2022, in Union Hospital Terre Haute. She was born October 30, 1940, in Terre Haute to Dale King and Helen Holsapple King.

She was retired from her paint and wallpapering business.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Larry Shope, Jr, who passed away March 6, 2014.

She is survived by one son, Steve Shope of Clinton; one brother, Bill and Elaine King of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews.
