Celia Davies, 92, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Providence Healthcare at St.-Mary-Of-The-Woods. Born in Montezuma, Indiana on September 1, 1932, to William Wolfe and Florence Weiss Wolfe who precede her in death. Also preceding are her sisters: Judy Hesse and Marilyn Williams; grandsons: Eugene Davies III and John Davies; and granddaughter Amy Lagle.
Celia attended school at both Montezuma and Bloomingdale and worked at Zenith and Pfizer before retiring. She attended Sugar Grove Methodist Church. Celia enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards and dominoes, and college basketball. She was an excellent cook; no one left her home hungry.
Those left to remember Celia are her sons: Robert G. Davies and his wife Katie; and Eugene N. Davies Jr.; daughter Janis C. Davies Ingebrigsten and her husband Erik; granddaughter Elizabeth Pearson; great-grandsons Jacob Andrew, James Pearson and Michael Lagle; great-granddaughter Colleen Lagle Young, and great-great-granddaughter Reaghan Andrew.
There will be a service held at Sugar Grove Methodist Church on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. (EST.) Burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parke-Vermillion Humane Shelter in memory of Celia.
