Charles T. Decker, 92, of St. Petersburg, Florida (formerly of Clinton) passed away on Thursday June 18, 2026, at his residence with family by his side. Born on December 28, 1933, to Ed Decker and Lucille (Sowers) Decker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Fran C. (Graham) Decker; son, James L. Decker; grandson, Charlie Decker; brothers, Ed Decker and Dan “Joe” Decker, and sister, Shirley Daugherty.

Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as production manager at Midland Glass and moved to Henrietta, OK and later retired from Anchor Glass as a shift foreman. Charles shared 54 years of marriage with his first wife Fran Decker before her passing. He enjoyed Golf, fishing, mushroom hunting, and playing card games with his family. He was always watching sports or old westerns. Charles was a member of the Clinton Senior Golf League and for years he played in the Bistecca Golf tournament. At one time there were three generations of Deckers on his team. He was so happy when he got the phone call that his family had won in 2025!

Those left behind to remember Charles are his wife of 15 years, Judy Decker; sons, Charles W. Decker (Beth), and Terry G. Decker (Paula); daughter-in-law Lynneie Decker; stepdaughters, Donna Thomas (Dan), and DuRhonda Pinegar (Randy); sisters, Rosie Wolfe and Pat Cowthon; grandchildren, Cameron Decker, Chelceie Decker, Taylor Decker, Taryn Moss, Sally Rusnell, Terrence Decker, Dallas Thomas (Kathleen), Preston Pinegar, and Luke Pinegar (Shelby); great-grandchildren, Kyli Decker, Jamie Decker, Caris Smith, S.J. Smith, Karson Smith, Bennett Decker, Victoria Rusnell, Victor Rusnell, and Palmer Pinegar, and several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Charles’ wishes there will be no service.
