Clyde E. Cundiff Obituary

Clyde E. Cundiff, 99, of Saint Bernice, passed away on Thursday December 22, 2022.

He was born in Hoopeston, IL., on October 31, 1923, to Bert Cundiff and Celete Atwood Cundiff.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Nancy Cundiff; two brothers James & Harold Cundiff; his sisters Goldie Hawn, Ivy Bonebrake, Sylivia Tingley, and a sister who passed as an infant and his son-in-law John Clemens.

Clyde is survived by his sons Howard Cundiff (Susan) of Lebanon, Tom Cundiff of Saint Bernice, daughters Vivian Cundiff of Saint Bernice and Joyce Clemens of Peoria, IL.; his sister Ruby Whittenburg; his three grandchildren Melissa Sharma (Kamal), Amanda Renee Harper (Sam), Amanda Solis De Jesus (Elias) and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the VFW American Legion.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Wednesday December 28, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and service will be Thursday December 29, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Garrett Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery with military honors.
