Cynthia D. Thomas, of Clinton, passed away at Paris Health Center in Paris, IL, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

She was born in Paris, IL on September 6, 1961 to Robert and Connie Garver Bomgardner.

She had previously been employed as an aide at Martin Luther King Home.

 Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gerald in 2018; and a sister Deborah Bomgardner.

Survivors includer her sons, Adam (Paige) Thomas of St. Bernice and Alex (Kanae) Thomas of Dana; a sister, Becky Bomgardner of Blanford; a brother, David Bomgardner also of Blanford; 7 grandchildren, Kyler Eldridge, Neveah Eldridge, McKenzie Thomas, Bleighton Short, McCoy Thomas, Evan Thomas, and Delaney Thomas.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 10 am to noon at Frist Funeral Home.  Funeral services follow at the funeral home with Celebrant Marta Adubato officiating.  Burial will then follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
