Dale Allen Farrington, 71 of Clinton, passed at his residence, on Friday, March 25, 2022.  He was born March 7, 1951, in Clinton to Vernon Jerald Farrington and Glenn Velma Smith Farrington. 

He was a Clinton High School graduate.  He attended Danville Junior College, in Danville, IL, where he studied horticulture.  He also attended Georgia Gwinnett Technical College, in Lawrenceville, GA, where he studied Environmental Horticulture and Golf Course Management.  Dale retired as a Golf pro, greenskeeper and golf course manager, at Matthews Golf Course in Clinton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jerry Farrington; and his sister, Betty Webb.

He is survived by his cousins, Brian Smith of Clinton, Mike Smith of Clinton, and Kim Riggen of Montezuma; sister-in-law, Carla Farrington of Terre Haute; his nieces and nephews, Jerry, Kris, Carla, and Gail Farrington; and several great-nieces and nephews.
