David Michael Maloon, 76, of Terre Haute, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 9, 2021.
He was born in Greencastle, Indiana, on December 8, 1944, to Lawrence “Jocko” Maloon and Helen Engle Maloon.
He was a member of the National Guard.  He was employed by Mid States in Crawfordsville.  He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Crawfordsville.
David was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David Allen Maloon.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Oaks Maloon of Terre Haute; a daughter-in-law, Billie Jo Maloon; 2 grandsons, David Allen Maloon, Jr. of Terre Haute and Cody Michael Maloon also of Terre Haute; a sister Sue McCord of Rockville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at Frist Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be on Friday, at 1 pm at the funeral home with Connie Acker officiating.   Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
