Donald J. Jackson

Donald James Jackson passed away at his home in Blanford on Friday January 30, 2026. He was 71 years old.

Don was born in Clinton, Indiana on February 19, 1954, to Mary Alice Jackson, who precedes him in death. Also, preceding Don is his wife Patsy (Hedden) Jackson and his brother Robert “Pete” Jackson.

Don played Bass having played in multiple bands over the years including the Gilbert Boys Band. He loved listening to and playing music but going fishing came in a close second.

Surviving are his stepchildren, Melissa Hedden, Amy Gambill and Johnny Lee Hedden, sister-in-law Jackie Jackson, nephews, Dustin Jackson, and Robert “Petie” Jackson, four great-nephews, step grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation has been chosen. There will be a celebration of life when the weather is warmer.
