Doris Jean Van Duyn, 88, of Rosedale, died at 11:07 AM, August 6, 2022, in her residence. She was born April 28, 1934, in Clinton, to Ralph Hayes and Louanna Phelps Hayes.
She was a homemaker and a farmer. She sponsored and formerly was active in a lady’s bowling league. She loved to do genealogy and researching the history of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Van Duyn; one brother, Ralph Hayes, and one sister, Betty Joseph.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Van Duyn of Rosedale and Darryl and Cindy Van Duyn of Rockville; six grandchildren, Richard Paul Van Duyn, Paul Wright Van Duyn, Melanie Brunett, Michael Van Duyn, Daniel Van Duyn, and Katherine Taylor; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, at Frist Funeral Home, from 2:00-3:30, with services to begin at 3:30. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
