Dorothy I. Shannon, 94, of Clinton passed away Wednesday August 31, 2022.
She was born in Clinton on September 16, 1927, to Jessie Prohaska and Dorothy Alkire.
Dorothy was a custodian with the South Vermillion School Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jess Shannon, her son Ron, Five brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her sons Jack Shannon (Brenda) of Rockville, Ed Chaney (Darlene) of Arizona a daughter Gloria Maloney (Don) of Clinton, her grandchildren Michelle Pflaum (Garren) of Brooklet, GA., Verna Barkley (Ted) of Brazil, IN., Chris Chaney (Michelle) of Florida, Amy Nelson (Josh) Waterford, MI., Tracie Chaney of Alabama, Tyler Shannon (Brittney) of Bloomingdale, IN., and Cody Shannon of Rockville, IN. Also surviving are many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen and Dorothy wished to not have any services.
