E. Marion Griffin, 82, of Greencastle, IN., passed away on January 9, 2023.

He was born in Clinton, IN on May 5, 1940, to Hiram Griffin and Sarah Gosnell Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Carolyn Isles and Marilyn Stephens

Marion is survived by his wife Karen Weyrauch Griffin of Greencastle; son Dwight Griffin & Janice Goldberg of Greencastle; daughter Lavonna Kuhn (Miles) of West Lafayette; brother Don Griffin (Leah) of Greenwood, IN., grandchildren Peyton Griffin, Preston Griffin, Anderson Griffin, Benjamin Kuhn (Madison), Bryce Kuhn; great granddaughter Sloan Kuhn and several nieces and nephews.

Marion and Karen were married on July 24, 1961, in Terre Haute, IN., he was a graduate of St. Bernice High School Class of 1958; he was a member of the Greencastle Masonic Lodge Temple #47, Order of the Eastern Star and Scottish Rite of Indianapolis.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Saturday January 14, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Service to follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Chris Gregg officiating. Burial will follow at Helts Prairie Cemetery in Hillsdale, IN.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Christian Church, First Christian Church Daycare or Cornerstone Christian Academy in Brazil.
