Elizabeth “Betty” Neukom Sims, 72, of Clinton, passed away during the early morning hours of Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.
Betty was born April 11, 1949 to Albert and Jeanne Heniff Neukom in Park Forest, IL.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and Sacred Heart Women’s Club.
Betty was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Jerry; sister, Kathy McKinney; brother, Timothy Neukom; brother-in-law, Terry Lessentine.
She is survived by her children, Tommy Sims (Jamie Crane) of Clinton, Jenni Garver (Joe) of Clinton; sisters, Barb Lessentine of Park Forest, IL, Mary Porter of Terre Haute; brother-in-law, Jon Sims (Anita) Monmouth, IL; grandchildren, Jeron Garver, Jaden Garver, Brett Sims, Colton Sims; step-grandchildren, Niki Zucca, Brittany MacLaren, Tyler Lee; step-great grandchildren, Hayley, Carter, Cole, Brycen, and Serena; several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
