Ellen (Hunter) Roberts

Ellen Roberts, 98, of Clinton passed away on Sunday February 4, 2024, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute.

She was born in Gary, Indiana on July 30, 1925, to David Hunter and Ellen Cundiff Hunter.

Those preceding Ellen in death are her parents, husband James Morris Roberts, sister Jane Harrison, granddaughter Lisa Attkisson, and granddaughter’s husband Josh Long.

Survivors include her daughters Sandra (Jerry) James of Clinton and Cynthia (Jay) Rogers of Clinton, Son David Roberts and Linda Crowley of Rockville, sister Ruth Ann Emory of Clinton, granddaughters Trisha (Brad) Hill, Gina (Jody) Endicott, Jamie Long, and Krissy (Steve) Landes, grandsons  David Roberts and Amy, Jason Rogers and Candy, Lee (Ashley) James, and Brian (Stacy) James; great-grandsons Devan and Mary Cate, Damon and Ashley, Dylan, Colten, Jacob, Jackson, Kyren, Eyan, Rowan and Jack; great-granddaughters Brenly, Chloe and Regan; great-great granddaughter Mellie and a great-great grandson due in May. Also surviving are several beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Friday February 9, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Service at 12:00pm with Geno Magallanes 1st Counselor in the Bishopric for the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
