Emma Joan “Jodie” Lynch, 73, passed away at home on Thursday October 24, 2024, with her family by her side.
She was born in Clay County, Indiana on May 13, 1951, to Arthur Moore and Mayme Rogers Moore.
Those Preceding Emma in death are her parents; brothers: Virgil, Eugene, Tom, Jack, Larry, Bill, Robert, and Junior; sisters: Mary Ellen, Agnes, Jane, Faye, Rosie, and Beulah, and her beloved dog Banjo.
Emma loved the outdoors especially gardening and fishing. She loved her family more than anything.
Surviving is her son Robert “Scott” Brown (Debbie), special nephew Donald Boatwright, grandchildren: Christopher Scott Brown (Ashely), Crystal McCammon (Jimmy), Laura Oaks (Charlie), Brandy Oaks (Joe), Sheena Dickison (Caral); great-grandchildren: Treyson, Madilynn, Jaylynn, Mae, Rada, Tiffany, Brittany, Cody, and Sunni; and several other great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Monday November 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Spangler Cemetery with Pastor Tom Rochlein officiating. Cremation has been chosen.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of The Wabash Valley in memory of Emma.
