Ethel "Lou" L. (Kyle) Runyan

Ethel “Lou” Runyan, 75, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday May 17, 2023, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute.

She was born in Clinton, Indiana on March 18, 1948, to Clarence Kyle and Mary Hopkins Kyle.

Lou played shortstop in a fast pitch adult softball league. She was so full of life and loved cooking and gardening. Lou worked at Walmart for many years and was a big positive influence because of her loving nature and high energy. Customers and co-workers alike enjoyed her personality.

Preceding Lou in death are her parents; husband Rick Runyan; sisters Nancy Tapp and Arlene Craddle.

Survivors include her son Ricky Runyan II of Clinton, IN., daughters Lisa Harris of Clinton, IN., and Tina Spires (Sam) of Bloomfield, IN., brothers Terry Kyle of Texas, Jim Kyle (Lexie) of South Carolina; and Ron Kyle (Diane) of Terre Haute, IN., sister Carolyn Williams of Saint Bernice and six grandchildren Qiya Runyan, Daniel Harris, Drayden Harris, Troy Lowe, Seth Spires, and Tia Spires.

A memorial service will be held at Frist Funeral Home on Tuesday May 23, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. Cremation was chosen.
