William “Frank” Kluesner, 82, died June 15, 2022, in Terre Haute. He was born September 13, 1939, in Clinton to Joseph William Kluesner and Emma Adeline Riley Kluesner.
He had worked at Allison’s as a welder, which was one of the manufacturers who made parts for the Apollo mission to the moon, which he was very proud of. He was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathleen; sisters, Vandetta Stewart and Diana Schumacher; a brother, Ted Kluesner; two brother-in-laws, Donald Stewart and Chuck Walters; and one stepson Wally.
He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Kluesner Cooper; a son, Anthony Kluesner; stepchildren, Lou Ellen, Troy Kaufman, Laura Henry, Darla Chouinaro, and Trina Kaufman; grandson Joey Floyd; a granddaughter, Cierea Parison and several grandchildren and great grandchildren ; sisters, Carolyn and Al Hughes of Terre Haute, Linda Walters of Anderson, IN, and Shirley and Bill Cain of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11:30-1:00 PM on Tuesday at Frist Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:00 with Reverend Art Orndoff officiating. Military honors will be performed. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
